Thask is a half-orc, half-fey, though the fey half is relatively a mystery to him. Growing up as an orphaned child, Thask had to learn to fend for himself and find his own way through life. Growing up on the outskirts of Waterdeep, Thask would pick up odd jobs; jobs that would require a bit of extra muscle that a half-orc could provide. As a young teen one fateful afternoon, a tune caught his ear. The first time hearing a lute play. The sound was captivating. He wanted nothing more than to be able to recreate that beautiful melody. He would scrape and save every silver he had until he could buy his very own lute. He was a natural talent. This would be the first awakening of his fey blood, magic channeling through the music. Captivating. Thask had found his calling in life. He began performing on the streets, building a reputation as Thask the bard! He would continue to live at Waterdeep, putting on performances and shows at various taverns to make a living, until one eve where he would befriend a man named [[Dorfyr]], a sorcerer cursed by wild magic. The two would become the best of friends, traveling the lands of [[Faerûn]]. Their adventures would continue until the mindflayer invasion of Baldur's Gate, where they were both abducted, implanted with mindflayer tadpoles. In a quest for a cure they would meet various allies but at the end of the journey, Dorfyr took the ultimate sacrifice, allowing the mindflayer tadpole to blossom and take over, ultimately destroying him, but allowing the heroes to defeat the Netherbrain. After the events of Baldur's Gate, some heroes went off on their own separate journeys, but Thask shut down. He had lost his best friend. He was told that the transformation into a mind flayer destroys the soul. His friend was gone seemingly forever.

Intro

He would continue to live at Waterdeep, putting on performances and shows at various taverns to make a living, until one eve where he would befriend a man named Dorfyr, a sorcerer cursed by wild magic. The two would become the best of friends, traveling the lands of Faerûn.

Thask sunk into a deep depression, spending any coin he had on drink to drown away the sorrows. Slowly even his music would suffer until he could play no more. His natural talent walled off, unable to tap into the melody of life. He would remain this way until he crossed paths with one of the heroes of Baldur's Gate. Hush, a forest dwelling tiefling. Seeing her again sparked something inside of him. The two reconnected and set off on an adventure to find a way to bring back Dorfyr. They had both seen wonderful magic in their travels. There had to be a way to bring him back. Traveling together, the two began to form a powerful bond that would blossom into something wonderful. Being with Hush again, Thask would slowly find his song, and his musical talents began to resurface. Eventually they found a way to resurrect Dorfyr with the power of true restoration. With Dorfyr restored to his former self, the trio would continue their journeys through the lands of faerun.
